On October 21st, Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Education
Agency announced the establishment of the Supplementary Special Education
Services (SSES) program to connect eligible student with severe cognitive
disabilities with additional support for the services they require. The SISD
Special Education Department will update information regarding the SSES program
as it becomes available.
