Sharyland ISD

Our special children in the Sharyland Independent School District are provided with the optimum of care and attention. The buses are equipped with lifts and attendants to make a handicapped child secure, not only while riding on the bus, but while getting on and off of a bus as well. Once on a bus, the child is secured with belts and brackets that are part of the safety features on our buses.

 

Our attendants and our drivers are certified to do the job required. The special needs are addressed in CPR classes, and driver certification classes. Special Education is just what it implies. Every need is a special need. We at Transportation try to meet every need on an individual as well as an inclusion basis.
