Purpose of the Program:

Junior year is a crucial time for high school students.  Oftentimes, these students are in need of a personal mentor whom has knowledge or work experience in their preferred career field, and that can help them obtain answers to some of their education- and/or career-related questions.

The purpose of this program is to match successful community professionals with aspiring high school juniors to ensure that our students graduate from high school with a college and/or career ready mindset.  Simply put, the mentor’s role is to provide guidance and support to the students as they are making decisions regarding where to go to college/university and/or what major or career to pursue upon graduating from high school.
