Every school in Sharyland ISD has been given an opportunity to participate in the Sharyland ISD Battle of the Books local contest. Each winning team by category will advance to Regional Competition. Elementary teams include students in grades 1st-2nd-Battle of the Books Jr and students in 3rd-5th grades -Elementary. Junior high teams include students in grades 6th-8th. High school teams include students in grades 9th-12th.
The local competition for Battle of the Books Jr (1st and 2nd grade) and Battle of the Books Elementary School (3rd-5th grade) will be held on Friday, January 23, 2025. The local competition for Battle of the Books Middle School (6th-8th grades) and Battle of the Books High School (9th-12th grades) will be Friday, January 30, 2025.
